Wheres the juice

Dont you just love the school holidays the first thing I got this morning was "I'm hungry, wheres the juice!" No "Morning mum". I am beginning to think that another word for mum is skivvy!

Again today I am going to try and find another way to make extra dosh so I'll keep you posted.

Fitting work around children

It can be very complicted for a mum going back to work or even trying to just earn a few extra pounds a week. For me I was lucky enough to get a job in a school which means I can get all the school holidays. Along with this my employer paid for me to go to college in the evenings to get my qualifications that I needed for the job. At first I thought that this was going to be dead easy but how wrong I was.


It took two of my evenings a week, where hubby had to come home early and watch the children and then that was me out of the house until about 8.30pm. Trying to work, keep house, look after children and be a wife at the same time was a real struggle. Now I am down to one evening a week as there is only one section left to complete HOORAY!

What are mums????

A mum is supposed to be the best person in the world. One who you can turn to for anything when anything goes wrong! The one who cares for you and looks out for you.

So why do I feel that today being a mum must be the worst job in the world. Ungrateful, snivelling little trolls.
